Analysis and development
ATMP Denmark conducts analyses and pilot projects to build a stronger knowledge base and develop solutions that can support the program’s strategic ambitions. The work is intended to contribute to recommendations for a future ATMP Denmark as a single coordinating entry point for knowledge and guidance on ATMP.
Analyses and pilot projects must be carried out within three areas:
Regulatory frameworks
Map challenges and barriers on the path from research to launch and implementation of ATMP – and develop and test concrete solutions in the work on regulatory support.Follow-up with real-world data
Develop strategies for how best to follow the development and implementation of ATMP in practice.International inspiration
Collect and analyze experience from other countries.
From analysis to concrete solutions
The analyses must be translated into solutions that can support ATMP Denmark in becoming a coordinating entry point.
The analyses in the regulatory track are developed in collaboration with Sarah Wadmann, senior researcher at VIVE, and Jakob Wested, lecturer at the Faculty of Law, University of Copenhagen. Sarah Wadmann researches the implementation of new health technology, including prioritization dilemmas and organizational issues associated with the adoption of ATMP. Jakob Wested’s research focuses on pharmaceutical regulation, including legislative issues related to ATMP.
Knowledge is collected, among other things, through workshops with our stakeholders, as well as meetings with the working groups established to contribute to the ATMP program’s work.
The consulting firm, NHTA, translates the results into concrete digital solutions for ATMP Denmark – including the knowledge bank.
When collaboration turns into solutions
The work takes shape in meetings between people—in workshops where researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders share experiences, challenges, and ideas. New perspectives emerge here, helping to refine the analyses and point to solutions.
