Find your way in the ATMP landscape
ATMP Denmark is building a shared knowledge bank that supports an overview, understanding, and collaboration across the board
On the way toward a shared overview
ATMP Denmark works to create a shared national overview of the field of advanced therapies, including cell therapy, gene therapy, and tissue therapy medicinal products.
As part of this work, a knowledge bank and a map are being developed to make it easier for professionals, decision-makers, research environments, authorities, and companies to find relevant knowledge, stakeholders, and infrastructure in the ATMP field.
The content will be developed continuously in dialogue with relevant stakeholders and updated as the field matures.
Knowledge bank on the way
The knowledge bank brings together key information, experience, and resources about ATMPs in Denmark and internationally. The purpose is to make complex knowledge more accessible and support a shared understanding across the healthcare system, research, authorities, and industry.
The knowledge bank may, among other things, include information about regulatory frameworks, clinical use, manufacturing, quality, organization, and the implementation of ATMPs in the healthcare system.
In addition, the knowledge bank communicates selected questions and answers from, for example, the Danish Medicines Agency, as well as experience from ATMP Denmark’s regulatory support. This should make it easier for stakeholders in the field to orient themselves in recurring regulatory issues and gain access to general knowledge about requirements, processes, and relevant dialogue with authorities.
Overview: The ATMP landscape in Denmark
A new map should make knowledge, capacity, and collaborations within advanced therapies visible and provide a basis for better coordination and shared development.
The map should provide a visual and structured overview of the Danish ATMP landscape. It may include relevant stakeholders, research and treatment environments, clinical trials, infrastructure, production capacity, competencies, and collaboration interfaces.
The goal is to make it easier to see where knowledge, capacity, and experience already exist—and where there is a need for development, coordination, or new collaborations.
